The North Bergen Police Department has put out a public appeal to find a 58-year-old woman who suffers from schizophrenia that has been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Maria Martin-Vila was last seen boarding a commuter van on 80th Street and Bergenline Avenue that was traveling south on Bergenline Avenue yesterday around 1:00 p.m., the North Bergen PD posted on social media this morning.
She suffers from schizophrenia and is not in possession of a cell phone, the department also said.
The 58-year-old woman is approximately 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a light blue coat, black pants, black shoes, and a yellow shirt.
