On Friday at about 5:13 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Royal Motel, located at 650 Route 3 West, on a report of a dispute, Miller said in a statement.

Isaiah Gastonsteele, 21, of Newark, was the caller and said he was threatened by the prostitute, Sabrina Santarello, 27, of Daytona Beach, Florida, with a gun during a dispute.

The investigation revealed the male engaged the female in sex for money.  Both were arrested and a search of the motel room was done, but no gun was located.

They were both charged with engaging in prostitution, while Santarello was also charged with terroristic threats. Both Gaston-Steele and Santarello were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody, Miller stated.
