An East Orange man has been charged with killing a Guttenberg man a week-and-a-half ago, with a second post-mortem exam pending, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

On Saturday, November 23rd shortly after 10 p.m., the Guttenberg Police Department was notified of two unresponsive men inside a residence at 209 71st St., Suarez said in a statement.
The men – later identified as Justo Bory, 87, and Ricardo Bory, 58, both of Guttenberg – were pronounced dead at the scene.
During the initial response, the Guttenberg Police Department arrested Lamont Cole, 40, of East Orange, for interfering with the investigation. Cole has been detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility since the arrest.
Post-mortem examinations were performed on both males. On Monday, December 2nd the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office issued a report pertaining to Justo Bory that determined the cause of death to be compression of the neck and the manner to be homicide.
Cole was arrested at the Hudson County Correctional Facility yesterday and charged with one count of murder. The post-mortem report pertaining to Ricardo Bory is pending.
This matter is being investigated by the HCPO Homicide Unit and the Guttenberg PD.
