“We are proud to endorse Robert Menendez for Congress in New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District. Rob is the son of dedicated public servants and the grandson of brave Cuban immigrants,” said Latino Victory Fund President & CEO Nathalie Rayes.

“He has a deep understanding of the issues facing our community and he will be a strong advocate for the Latino community in Washington. He understands the sacrifices many Latinos have made and will advocate for policies to help create opportunities for all.”

LVF, whose founding members include Eva Longoria, aims to build political power within the Latino community so that the voices of Latinos are reflected at every level of government and in the policies that drive our nation forward.

“I am proud to accept Latino Victory Fund’s endorsement. With the Republican Party consistently pursuing policies that hurt Latino families in districts like ours, it has never been more important to engage our Latino communities and increase our representation in D.C.,” Menendez added.

“Working with LVF, we can ensure that our voices are heard and never underestimated.”

LVF’s vision is marked by a substantial increase in progressive Latino elected officials, Latino voter participation, and Latino political donations, making Latino voters a deciding factor in elections up and down the ballot throughout the country.

Menendez, an attorney, Port Authority commissioner, and the son of U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), is the frontrunner in the June 7th primary where he faces off against David Ocampo Grajales and Ane Roseborough-Eberhard.

  1. Sorry, this guy has no record of doing anything other than being the senator’s son (and I like his father). I like David Ocampo Grajales, he looks to me like a smart, hardworking young man who is trying to make it without riding coattails.
