“In today’s interconnected world, it is essential to interact and experience the reality of different cultures and geographical regions,” HCLF Chair  Vanessa Trinidad said in a  statement.

“We share similar values with HoLa and are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to a local student.”

HoLA is a K-8 dual language immersion public charter school in Hoboken with over 415 students, while the HCLF is a non-profit group founded in 2017 with a focus on reducing the socio-economic gap for marginalized groups.

“We are thankful for the generous donation from HCLF that makes it possible for all students to participate in this experience abroad later this year. We are incredibly proud to partner with HCLF and are grateful for all they do for the Hudson County community,” added HoLA Board President Nicole Cammarota.
