Hoboken police looking for credit card thief who spent $854 at Newport Mall

The Hoboken Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a thief who stole a credit card out of a local gym locker and racked up an $854 bill at Newport Mall.

On June 24th, the man photographed above entered a local gym in Hoboken and broke into the victim’s locker. The victim was alerted as to the charges that were being made using his credit cards, according to Police Det. Lt. Edgardo Cruz.

The charges were made at the Newport Mall in Jersey City. The suspect in the photo used the credit card several times, making purchases, which included an Apple iPhone, food and sporting goods, totaling $854, officials said.
