Hoboken police investigating incident where 3 parking utility vehicles had tires slashed

The Hoboken Police Department is investigating an incident where three parking utility vehicles had their tires slashed over the weekend.

“We did have a criminal mischief report involving 3 parking utility vehicles with slashed tires,” Police Det. Lt. Jonathan Mecka said in an email following an inquiry from HCV.

He continued that the incident occurred late Friday night into Saturday morning when the vehicles were parked in Garage B, located at 47 2nd St.

Furthermore, Mecka said that the case is being investigated by the Hoboken Police Department’s Detective Bureau.

No additional information was immediately available.
