“We collect new unused toys that will be distributed to local needy children by the Hoboken Grace Church and the West Side Woman’s Group in the Hoboken Housing Authority,” Police Sgt. Pete Zanin said in an email.

Collection boxes will be held at Hoboken Police Headquarters at 106 Hudson St., as well as the fire house at 1313 Washington St.

Additionally, the toy drive itself will be held at 630 Washington St. for most of the day on December 11th, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The first responders have also started an Amazon wish list, which includes gifts such as legos, bluetooth headphones, smart robots, hot wheels, among many other things.
