The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a third violent incident since last night and also the second one that occurred in the Jersey City Heights.

At 1:39 p.m. the HCPO tweeted that their homicide unit was responding to an incident on New York Avenue where a man was found dead.
With assistance from the Jersey City Police Department, the prosecutor’s office was still investigating the scene around 2:20 p.m.
Authorities appeared to be combing the area for evidence and interviewing nearby residents about what had happened.
Several neighbors said they were either unaware of what occurred or declined to comment.
At 10:56 a.m. Sunday morning, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez released more information.
Yesterday, just after 12:30 p.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to an apartment on New York Avenue near Hutton Street on a report of “a suspicious condition,” Suarez said in a statement.
Responding officers found a lifeless man later identified as Yuting Ge, 23, with multiple lacerations throughout his body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:55 p.m.
The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this case and no arrests have been made at this time.
