The former U.S. Treasury official raised $8,127.43, spent $112,519.23, and has $61,095.60 cash on hand, based on her October 8th report filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (NJ ELEC).

None of her donors were from the New Jersey political sphere and her largest contributor was Stamm International Corp. President and CEO Marilyn Skony Stamm, who gave $2,000, the report says.

Her city council slate Shashi Khemlani, Kim Giddens, Nicholas Gorka did not report raising any money in Q3.

Washington, D.C.-based Senza Kozar Strategies was paid $20,000 for fundraising consulting, Jersey City’s Greenlight, Inc. was paid $11,001 for media production, with another firm out of DC, Nielsen Consulting LLC, receiving $3,000 for research and polling.

Additionally, Connecticut-based Mission Control was compensated $18,853.85 for printing and postage for direct mail, while Pennsylvania’s Josh Freedman received $9,478.94 for political consulting and travel.

Ajmani is running as a political outsider to succeed Mayor Ravi Bhalla, a Democratic nominee for state Assembly in the 32nd Legislative District, in a race that includes four city council members.

The other mayoral candidates are 2nd Ward Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher, 3rd Ward Councilman Mike Russo, 4th Ward Councilman Ruben Ramos, Councilwoman-at-Large Emily Jabbour, and perennial candidate Pat Waiters.
