Bayonne OEM reports yet another slight overnight decrease in COVID-19 cases

The Bayonne Office of Emergency is reporting yet another slight overnight decrease in COVID-19 cases, going from 685 patients on Thursday to 683 today.

Yesterday, the city reported 53 coronavirus-related fatalities, the latest being an 86-year-old man, and 179 recoveries.

Today, the city’s OEM indicated that there are new new fatalities and that their recoveries have increased to 187.

This marks the third time in the past week-and-a-half that the Peninsula City has reported a small drop in cases over a 24-hour period.

The afternoon, the New Jersey Department of Health indicated that there are 15,148 cases of COVID-19 in Hudson County and 819 deaths, the second and third most in the state by county, respectively.
