Around 10,000 Jersey City residents are without power this evening, though it is expected to be restored by no later than midnight, officials said.

According to the PSE&G power outage map, approximately 10,000 Jersey City customers have been without power as of about 10:15 p.m.
However, according to the City of Jersey City’s official Twitter page, the problem stemmed from an outage at PSE&G’s station on Morgan Street.
Their tweet also states that PSE&G is working on the issue and restoration is expected in an hour or two.
