Yet another water main break in Hoboken, the third since Thanksgiving, is impacting nearby residents and businesses as repairs begin.

The eight-inch break is right in front of the Smart Start Academy daycare, located at 552 9th St., and Veolia tweeted that the block is closed to traffic at 8:19 a.m.
Minutes ago, they noted that the break has been isolated and repairs are underway. No additional information was immediately available.
An early morning 16-inch break on Observer Highway on Thanksgiving caused several road closures, while a six-inch break on Friday into Saturday on Park Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets caused some residents to lose water pressure and/or service.
