“CarePoint Health (BMC) is looking for help in fighting COVID-19. If you have been diagnosed and recovered from COVID-19, you may be eligible. Please call 201-274-4644 or email covidplasmabayonne@carepointhealth.org,” the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said this evening.

Earlier today, Christ Hospital, also part of CarePoint Health, made the same request in Jersey City.

In their daily update, the disaster mobilization agency added that there have been 3 new fatalities in the past 24 hours: three women ages 53, 64, and 83.

This brings their total number of coronavirus-related deaths to 23, along with 436 active cases, up 21 from Monday, and around 90 recoveries – the same as yesterday.

Earlier today, the New Jersey Department of Health announced that there are 8,242 COVID-19 cases in Hudson County, the second most statewide, and 277 deaths – the third most in the state by county.
