“Union City has 1,345 cases today with, unfortunately, 50 fatalities. Case numbers may seem high, but we attribute some of it to increased testing,” city spokeswoman Erin Knoedler said in an email.

She added that data regarding recoveries was not immediately available as of Tuesday evening.

The North Hudson coronavirus testing site is located on 36th Street in Union City between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Bergenline Avenue.

Residents of North Bergen, West New York, Weehawken, and Guttenberg, are also eligible to schedule an appointment at this facility.

  1. My parents Jose and Gloria live on 12th Street. This has been our home for over 40 years. We thank and are grateful and do not know how we can thank our Mayor Brian Stack, the Police, and all the great Union City employees and departments who have helped and provided protection and goods for my parents! I am a North Bergen resident but grew up knowing Brian since grammar school! Union City is still my town! Best Mayor! Thank you and God bless and please all stay safe and healthy!
