Jersey City Medical Center spokesman Mark Rabson told Hudson County View that four individuals were treated at the hospital following last night’s shooting: a 21-year-old man and two 15-year-old boys  – who were shot – as well as a female who sustained minor injuries while fleeing the scene of the incident.
The 21-year-old man and one of the 15-year-old boys are in critical condition, while the other 15-year-old boy – who was shot in the foot – as well as the female who suffered minor scrapes and abrasions, were released earlier today, Rabson said.
According to police radio transmissions, the shooting occurred at 9:15 p.m. last night at an annual Father’s Day cookout. The park, located near the intersection of John F. Kennedy Boulevard West and 63rd Street, is on the Bayonne-Jersey City border.
An email sent to Jersey City public safety spokeswoman Carly Baldwin around 9 a.m. this morning, inquiring if Jersey City police – who responded to the shooting – had any further updates has not received a response as of this writing.
