Mayor Felix Roque, a U.S. Army Reserve colonel, talked about the large amount of respect he has for the men and women who make the sacrifice of joining the armed services.

U.S. Army Private First Class Hector Maisonave and U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Patrick Cullen both received plaques from the town in honor of their service.

After the ceremonies ended, we spoke to Maisonaive, who wants to see a Veterans Day Parade in West New York – as well as two other veterans – to get their take on the meaning of Veterans Day.
