Mayor Jimmy Davis is on a roll over in Bayonne after winning a turbulent race against incumbent Mark Smith. And he’s made it clear:  he’s gonna “fill” his Mayoral Facebook page.

The brand new Mayor AND new members of council swore in a new police chief – Jersey City native Drew Niekrasz. It’s a bright new day in Bayonne…what could possibly rain on Mayor Davis’ parade? Wait..whatever happened to those allegations of voter fraud against Davis and his campaign? Last we heard, County election officials were investigating, stay tuned to Hudson County View for more on that.

Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia (D-33) posted an inspirational meme pulled from “morethanmodels.com,” a website that describes itself as “life tips and true stories from models traveling around the world”. I scrolled it long enough to realize this is for model-eye’s only. But I guess models are constituents, too, so I’ll allow it.

Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli  jumped on the re-elect County Exec DeGise bandwagon – which already includes heavy hitting Mayors Brian Stack and Nick Sacco to name a few. No one has announced themselves as a democratic challenger for the primary. Whispers that Freeholder Bill O’Dea (D-2) might take a swing at it seem to be dying out.

U.S. Congressman Albio Sires (D-8) “had the chance to meet with local educators from the New Jersey Education Association to discuss their in New Jersey to improve the quality of education in our public schools” .. and this guy totally zinged him.

Bob Menendez went on a tweeting-Frenzy Thursday when his “team Menendez” beat Cory Booker’s team in what seemed like an impromptu baseball game between the Senators and their staffs organized via twitter…no word on when, where or why this happened.
