The Kearny Fire Department extinguished a car fully engulfed in flames on Wednesday evening, with no injuries reported as a result of the incident.Â

The department responded to a car fire in a residential neighborhood on Wednesday night after dark, able to quickly put the blaze out, based on a four-minute and 41-second video of the incident posted on YouTube posted by user Jeff Stang.
While the car sustained serious damage, no one appeared to be inside the vehicle when the fire started.
No one at the Kearny Fire Department was available to comment on the specifies of the car fire this morning, but this story will be updated in the event comment is given.
