Gans, Gans & Associates, a Florida based firm, was responsible for placing Newark Housing Authority Executive Director, Keith Kinard.
The firm is billing at $150 per hour, with a contract cost not to exceed $15,000.
Gans, Gans & Associates has also committed to attending at least one stakeholder meeting with the residents to get feedback on the direction the HHA.
DiVincent, also the director of the West New York and Weehawken Housing Authorities, was named the HHA’s interim executive director on August 26, weeks after Carmelo Garcia, the Assemblyman of the 33rd District, was ousted by the board at a raucous special meeting on August 4.
