Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia (D-33), the former Executive Director of the Hoboken Housing Authority, gave his side of the story regarding expenditures made under his watch at the HHA – also addressing the recent HUD report on the authority’s procurement policy – during the public portion of Tuesday’s special meeting.Â
Garcia continued his crusade against the HHA after being fired at a special meeting on August 4, confirmed he will be pursuing legal action against the governing body.
The ex-ED repeatedly called Chairwoman Dana Wefer a liar, with Wefer later responding – telling the crowd on hand that Garcia had been giving misinformation.
