“Today marks a momentous occasion for our beloved town. The newly renovated Miller Park will serve as a hub for recreation and a source of joy for residents of all ages, and represents our unwavering commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy,” Mayor Albio Sires said in a statement.

Among the key additions to the park are new basketball courts, mini soccer field, and playground featuring areas for children with special needs.

The restoration, which began in September of last year, also includes upgraded security features.

Local residents joined in the festivities at the grand opening celebration, which included a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment, including music, food, and tours of the park’s new features.
