The mass will be held at 6401 Palisade Ave. in West New York on Friday, September 29th at 11 a.m.
“Join us as we pray and honor the men and women who serve our parish community from the West New York, Guttenberg, and North Bergen Police Departments,” a flyer for the event says.
Bishop Gregory Studerus, an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Newark, will preside over the ceremony.
He has served as pastor of St. Joseph, the largest Hispanic parish of the Archdiocese and among the largest overall, since 2005, when he was named Chaplain to His Holiness by Pope Benedict XVI.
From 2013 to 2016, he served as Dean of North Hudson Deanery 8, and in 2015, he was appointed Episcopal Vicar of Hudson County.
