The visitation will take place on Monday, November 11th from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, located at 633 Washington St. and the funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13th at Saint Peter & Paul Church – 404 Hudson St.
“Jen and her beloved husband Joe, her partner in life, built a home and family together filled with love, peace, and laughter—a foundation that allowed Jen to give so much of herself to the world,” her obituary says.
“She was an extraordinary mother to her three sons, Joe, Jack, and Alex, and her beloved dog Jane, celebrating and cherishing every milestone and accomplishment with joy. Nothing brought her greater fulfillment than watching them grow into the remarkable young men they have become. Though she is no longer by their side, her love, strength, and guidance will forever be their compass.”
She had a stellar record of being responsive to constituents and helping people, and therefore, her obituary of course made note of her unwavering commitment to the Mile Square City.
“Jen’s dedication to her community was inseparable from her love for people. She served Hoboken with unwavering commitment, elected four times to the City Council and currently in her seventh term as City Council President. She was a champion for her neighbors and the many small businesses she loved to frequent,” the obituary says.
“And was a passionate advocate for those facing homelessness and housing insecurity, Jen supported causes close to her heart, including the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, Family Promise of Hudson County and Garden State Episcopal. In her honor, we ask that donations be made to these organizations, whose missions she held dearly.”

Very sad. Too young and her minor children are left without a mother. RIP Jen.
