Union City City Hall, 3700 Palisade Ave., and the Bruce Walter Recreation Center, 507 West St., opened as warming centers this morning at 9 a.m. and will continue to serve in that function until at least 9 a.m. Friday, officials said today.

Temperatures are expected to remain frigid through tomorrow, with potentially four to six inches of snow falling between Sunday and Monday, according to Weather.com.

For the time being, temperatures are expected to rise between the mid-30s to mid-40s between Wednesday and Friday.
