“Union City’s confirmed cases are at 2,106 and sadly 102 residents have succumbed to the virus. Their families will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers,” Mayor Brian Stack said on the call.

“The labs are now catching up on reporting and are reporting faster, which can be attributed to the jump in confirmed cases. More people are getting tested and treated than ever before.”

This afternoon, the New Jersey Department of Health revealed that there are 11,636 COVID-19 cases in Hudson County, the second most in the state by county, and 525 fatalities, the third most in the state by county.
