Two deer were spotted taking an early morning stroll through Hoboken this morning, which delighted several social media users after someone tweeted a photo of the animals.

Police Chief Kenneth Ferrante confirmed that the photo was real, tweeting that the department has been receiving calls about the typically woodland creatures and they were last seen near 15th and Madison Streets.
While deer sightings are fairly rare in the Mile Square City, that pales in comparison to the grey seal pup seen hanging out on the waterfront earlier this month.
