“A driver attempting to park their pick up truck backed into a fish store through a plate glass window. The store was closed and no one was injured,” North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue spokesman Nick Bond said following an inquiry from HCV.

“The owner of the fish store and vehicle were on the scene and NHRFR assisted in securing the scene along with Union City PD.”

An email to the Union City Police Department was not returned on Tuesday.

In an Instagram story, the store, located at 3414 Bergenline Ave., said only a brief closure would be necessary.

“We will be closed for a few days! But we’ll be back soon 💪🏻💪🏻🇪🇨🇪🇨,” they wrote in Spanish.
