“Rob has worked with our affiliate locals on key issues and has helped keep work in New Jersey. We will be engaging our brothers and sisters to vote for Rob!” Joint Council 73 President Alphonse Rispoli, Jr. said in a statement.

Teamsters Joint Council 73 represents over 55,000 members across 13 different New Jersey Teamster Local Union affiliates.

“We rely on dedicated Teamsters members to keep New Jersey moving every single day. We’ve stood side-by-side on the picket line at Anheuser-Busch – and we will always partner with Teamsters members to achieve good wages, strengthen protections, create safer working conditions, advocate for the right to organize, and uplift all of our working families,” Menendez added.

“In Congress, we will continue to introduce and support legislation such as the Working Families Task Force and the PRO Act. I am proud to be supported by our friends at Teamsters Joint Council 73 and I look forward to all that we will continue to achieve together.”

The primary is on June 4th, where the incumbent looks to stave off challenges from Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla and first time candidate Kyle Jasey.
