Jersey City Ward E Councilman James Solomon, a candidate for mayor, is slamming “corrupt and disgraceful” U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi for attacking the city’s sanctuary city status.

“The corrupt and disgraceful Pam Bondi shames her oath of office with this letter. So do the thugs at ICE, who kidnap residents to throw in foreign gulags — whether they’re American citizens or not. Why should anyone assist them to round up our neighbors?
“The authoritarian Trump administration is hell-bent on destroying our Constitution and trampling on our freedoms, and we will not expend local resources to aid and abet them. That’s why, as Mayor, you have my word: If you call Jersey City home, the City of Jersey City will protect you. We will use every tool at our disposal to fight back.”
Yesterday, Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla denounced a letter from Bondi threatening cutting off federal funding if the municipal government did not cooperate with ICE, indicating that the city would not be changing their stance, as HCV first reported.
The U.S. Department of Justice sued Hoboken, Jersey City, Paterson, and Newark back in May as part of their crackdown on sanctuary cities, with the other three cities named as defendants all receiving letters from Bondi as well.
Solomon is the first Jersey City elected official to speak out against the President Donald Trump (R) administration in light of Bondi’s correspondence from last week.
Bondi also wrote that Trump has directed federal agencies to identify grants, contracts, and federal funds issued to sanctuary cities, which “violate federal immigration law” and may result in further consequences for municipalities that do not comply.
Why are American freedoms being subsumed to the crimes of illegal aliens?
Perhaps, Mr. Solomon needs to submit himself for arrest. It sounds like he may be involved in human trafficking?

Please provide your extensive evidence of Councilman Solomon’s child trafficking activities to the appropriate authorities so that justice may be served.
Or, you could try growing a brain and not believing every idiotic thing you hear on Fox News or from Jeffery Epstein’s very good friend, Donald Trump.

Or maybe you could explain the fate of tens of thousands of women and minor girls molested during their 800-mile trek to the border by human traffickers. Talk about idiocy, go look in a mirror.
Candidates for local office have to focus on the local. But the world is complex and things are interrelated. James Solomon seems to understand that in a way a bunch of internet trolls do not.
He gets that depriving ‘suspected’ dangerous immigrants of their constitutional rights makes us all less safe.
Especially the way the Trump administration and AG Bondi is doing it on the flimsiest of evidence or often no evidence at all.
