In an editorial, Hoboken council-at-large candidate Joshua Sotomayor Einstein reaches out to voters by asking them not to be fooled by “token Republicans” who seek office in the non-partisan November 4th contest.
Dear Hoboken centrist Independents, commonsense Democrats, and fellow Republicans,
Most, if not all, of the mayoral campaigns will attempt to placate you by selecting someone on their slate of At-Large City Council Candidates they believe to be centrist or Republican enough to get your vote.
They will not select someone so centrist or Republican as to alienate the coalition of left of center, woke, and limousine liberal they think they need to win.
Whereas these token “Republicans” or “centrists” are domesticated (some might say ideological eunuchs) who are upset when their masters progressive house burns downs, real Republicans (commonsense independents, and fiscally responsible Democrats) understand the foundation of Hoboken’s municipal government– raising taxes and making life ever more unaffordable for Hoboken’s ever shrinking middle class – should burn down.
Real Republicans, independently minded voters, and centrist Democrats understand City Hall’s direction is unsustainable.
Elected officials can attend flag raisings, pimp out municipal resolutions and street paintings for special interest groups, and pay firms for engineering feasibility studies and lawsuits on this, that, and the other thing – but those won’t kill the rats, clean up the streets, prevent pot smoking near playgrounds, nor will they lower the tax burden, or stymie rent increases.
Friends – fellow Republicans, independently minded voters, and fiscally responsible Democrats – don’t be fooled by mayoral campaigns with the token centrist or Republican.
You need a real Republican on the City Council, an independent voice for fiscal commonsense who will not care when the master’s house is on fire, but who will serve the public by making Hoboken safe and for the middle class again.

The fact that this fascist chud finds common cause with “centrist Democrats” says everything you need to know about who the HCDO is. They chum around together at their sleezy fundraisers and then pretend they’re not all on the same bigoted corporate conservative team.
Josh Einstein is repulsive. If Arango and Pavel had any set of stones they’d remove him from party leadership so regular Hudson County Republicans feel comfortable supporting the organization again. That won’t happen as long as predator Einstein is involved.
2020: Asbury wants Einstein to resign immediately, as does Hudson GOP Chairman Jose Arango.
