A reckless driver flipped his car onto its side as he was traveling through James J. Braddock Park in North Bergen last night, fleeing the scene before authorities arrived, according to an eyewitness.Â

The incident occurred approximately between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Riverview Drive, with the vehicle heading north towards John F. Kennedy Boulevard East, an eyewitness told Hudson County View.
The driver fled on foot before authorities arrived on the scene, the eyewitness added.
The North Bergen and Guttenberg Police Departments, Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, North Bergen EMS and North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue all responded to the incident, which occurred less than a block away from where “Back to the Future” was being shown as the finale of the “Movies in the Park” series.
North Bergen and Guttenberg police, as well as a spokesman from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, did not immediately return calls seeking comment, but this story will be updated in the event comment is given.
Thank goodness no one was hurt
