Yesterday at approximately 4:58 p.m., the Cliffside Park Police Department responded to a report of a domestic violence incident involving serious bodily injury.

An investigation conducted by the BCPO’s Major Crimes Unit and the Cliffside Park PD revealed that a female victim’s throat was cut with a razor blade by Lara-Rojo.

The victim was transported to Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen with life-threatening injuries.

Lara-Rojo was scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack today.

Musella thanked the Cliffside Park PD and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this investigation.

Additionally, The Daily Voice reported that Lara-Rojo is a Cuban national.
