A Union City man, 35, was arrested yesterday for sexually assaulting a child in Fairview on two occasions, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced.

Cesar Ixcoy-Perez, 35, of Union City, was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Musella said in a statement.
On Monday, December 4th, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile that had occurred within Bergen County.
An investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department revealed Ixcoy-Perez sexually assaulted a child in Fairview on two occasions.
After being arrested, he was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
Musella also thanked the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fairview Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
