A Jersey City man was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman in the Heights last weekend, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

Yesterday, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Bili Crisostomo-Hernandez, 23, of Jersey City, on charges that he sexually assaulted a 28-year-old woman who was walking in the area of Ogden Avenue and South Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Suarez said in a statement.
Crisostomo-Hernandez has been charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, hindering, and providing false statements.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday without incident.
The Prosecutor’s Office has filed a detention motion, which is scheduled for Monday, September 21st.
Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit for the
investigation and arrest.
