Two Union City men were arrested on child porn charges yesterday, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Erik Umama, 30, and Francisco Brando, 50, both of Union City, were arrested at their respective homes yesterday on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography, authorities said.
Umama was detained by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit , Union City Police Department and New Jersey Internet-Crimes-Against-Children Task Force around 7:20 a.m., where they discovered 15,000 videos and images containing child porn on his computer, officials said.
Meanwhile, Brando was detained around 9:40 a.m. by the same authorities, where they determined he had been sharing an undisclosed amount of photos and videos. containing child porn online, police said.
