Christian Reyes, 25, and Tori Beato, 23, of Secaucus, were both charged with receiving stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Police Det. Sgt. Michael Torres.

On Wednesday, August 31 at 05:59 p.m., Secaucus police pulled the couple over for allegedly driving a stolen 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe in the area of County Avenue and Blanche Street, officials said.

A nine-month-old child was also in the vehicle at the time. Reyes’ bail was set at $100,000 and Beato’s bail was set at $50,000.00 in full. Reyes was then remanded to the Hudson County Jail and Beato’s was released after her bail was posted, authorities said.
