The Secaucus Police Detective Division conducted an investigation regarding an incident that occurred at AJ’s Go Go Nightclub and Sports Bar, located at 201 Secaucus Road on November 5th, according to Police Chief Dennis Miller.
As a result of the investigation, on November 20th at approximately 11:26 a.m., Joseph Pisa, 44, of Weehawken, was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters.
Pisa was charged with creating false public alarms and calling 911 without needing 911 service, Miller said.
From there, Pisa was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
“It’s said that when an individual creates something and gives it his name, it takes on his likeness,” the description on AJ’s Facebook page says.
“AJ, the man for whom our club is titled, raised capital to open AJ’s by working in clubs for most of his adult life. His money came from fun and fun is what it created. A large open room with some of the area’s most gorgeous women is only the beginning.”
