On October 31st at about 9:35 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Harmony Suites located at 455 Plaza Drive on a report of a possible bomb located on the premises that was determined to be unfounded, Miller said in a statement.
Further investigation led to the arrest Christopher Geary, 26, of Hewitt, for possession
of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Miller, a woman reported a bomb in her room but was suffering from an emotional episode and that threat of a bomb was deemed unfounded.
Geary was also staying in that room and was found to be in possession of crystal meth and drug paraphernalia.
He was issued his complaint summons and released from police custody, authorities said.
