Police: Man busted with bow & arrow, guns, & retractable baton in Secaucus

A Maryland man was busted with a bow and arrow, shotgun, handgun, and retractable baton after Secaucus police received a call that someone was storing a variety weapons in his tractor trailer.

Saul Taylor, 47, of Owings, Maryland, was charged with charged with unlawful possession of a shotgun, unlawful possession of a BB gun rifle, unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of a BB handgun, unlawful possession of hollow point ammunition, possession of a prohibited weapon (retractable baton), certain persons not to have Weapons (BB gun rifle), certain persons not to have weapons (hollow point ammo), and certain persons not to have weapons (bow and arrow and retractable baton), Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

On April 16th at approximately 2:18 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 20 Enterprise Ave. on a report of a suspicious condition involving a tractor trailer.

Officers immediately located the tractor in the parking lot of National Retail Transportation (NRT) occupied by Taylor and a search of the vehicle uncovered the aforementioned weapons.

Taylor was subsequently issued his complaint warrant and was then transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, police said.
