Police: Man arrested in Secaucus for possessing heroin, axe, ninja star, and 2 knives

A man was arrested in Secaucus on Friday for being found to be in possession of heroin, an axe, a ninja star, and two knives, police said.

On May 5th around 5:05 p.m., Secaucus police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop since the vehicle was unregistered, according to Police Lt. Michael Viggiani.

During the stop, the officer’s seized two wax folds of controlled dangerous substance believed to be heroin from the vehicle along with an axe, a six-pointed ninja star, and a rainbow knife. A second knife was also found on the waistband of the driver.

As a result, Colin Hogan, 36, of New Milford, was charged with possession of CDS believed to be heroin, as well as four counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, one for each individual weapon.

Hogan was issued his complaint warrant and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
