A Jersey City man was busted with a loaded semi-automatic, fully loaded 9 millimeter handgun during a Bayonne traffic stop last week, police said.

Justin Webb, 29, of Jersey City, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon (firearm), possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, prohibited weapons and devices (hollow nose bullets), obstructing a governmental function, and contempt, according to Police Sgt. Kenneth Drago.
He was arrested on December 6th at approximately 11:29 p.m. in the area of 55th Street and Broadway. Officers in the area observed a vehicle committing traffic violations and conducted a motor vehicle stop, Drago said in statement.
Webb was identified as the passenger of the vehicle, and was observed attempting to conceal an item as the officers initiated the motor vehicle stop.
During the investigation, Webb failed to comply with numerous orders by the officers, and was found to be in possession of a fully loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun, which was recovered from his left jacket pocket.
Webb was charged accordingly and additionally processed on an open warrant issued out of Jersey City Municipal Court.
As a result, he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
