James Noonan, 56, of Bayonne, was charged with two counts of shoplifting, criminal mischief and lewdness, according to Police Sgt. Lauren Brattole.

Yesterday at around 4:40 p.m., Noonan attempted to rob High Spirits liquor store, located at 816-818 Broadway, but was stopped by an employee before being asking to leave, officials said.

On his way out, Noonan knocked over several glass bottles, causing one to break, before going into the QuickChek at 822 Broadway and stealing $2.39 worth of items from the store, authorities said.

After exiting the QuickChek, Noonan decided to urinate on a fence in clear public view before shaking his exposed penis at the female store clerk who followed him outside, police said.

Noonan was arrested and transported to Hudson County jail before being issued a $15,000 bail with a 10 percent option, officials said.
