Miguel Santana, 44, of Bayonne, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and manufacturing, distributing or dispensing opium or cocaine, according to Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

At about 3:45 p.m. yesterday, Port Authority police at One PATH Plaza, the Journal Square PATH station in Jersey City, saw the suspect in the public bathroom on the concourse level, authorities said.

Santana was seen in the process of crushing a white powdery substance into a plastic bottle cap and the bottle cap was alongside a hypodermic syringe. As a result, Port Authority police arrested the suspect, officials said.

He was found to be in possession of 12 bags of alleged heroin, along with a glass pipe containing alleged crack cocaine residue. Santana is due back in court on February 12th, police said.

  1. Miguel you don’t crush it up in a soda cap in the bathroom! There’s kids in there! Not to mention people who say “I see what you’re doing Darvis, give me some of that for free or I’ll call the cops” then when you ‘call their bluff’ they ‘call the cops’ and you end up doing time because you got blackmailed by a Vietnam VET!
