Dilexson Hernandez-Gomez, 31, of Bayonne, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to Police Lt. Eric Amato.

Back on January 28th, a 26-year-old male victim and a 36-year-old male victim report that while patronizing La Tinaja Lounge, located at 273 Broadway, a male actor began to assault the older victim, knocking him to the floor, authorities said.

The younger man then attempted to assist his friend to his feet, at which time two other men approached both victims and began joining in on the assault, officials said.

At this time, the initial actor, later identified as Hernandez-Gomez, took possession of a pool stick and struck both victims about the head, while the other two actors threw glass bottles at them, police said.

He was charged, processed and released on a summons while two other men involved in the incident remain at large, authorities said.
