Julian M. Perez Pareja, 22, of Bayonne, was charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, Amato said in a statement.

On December 20th at about 4:36 p.m., officers were dispatched to the juvenile victim’s home on a report of a man who just exposed himself, in the area of East 4th Street and Lord Avenue.

An immediate search of the area did not identify a suspect, but a follow up investigation conducted by the Bayonne Police Department Detective Bureau lead to the identification of  Perez Pareja.

Then earlier today, Bayonne police detectives responded to the 300 block of Avenue C, where Perez Pareja was successfully taken into custody and processed accordingly, authorities said.
