A 56-year-old Bayonne man was arrested after being caught masturbating outside of a local school last week, police said.

Carlos Domar, 56, of Bayonne, was charged with lewdness and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (amphetamine) last week, according to Police Capt. Janine Foy.
On Thursday, January 12, around 9:09 a.m., a local business owner and a crossing guard told police they observed Domar masturbating outside of the Horace Mann Elementary School, authorities said.
The two observers approached Domar, who immediately fled the scene in his blue four-door Volkswagen Jetta, officials said.
Domar was then quickly located and detained without incident, police said. The defendant was eventually released on a summons.
