Police: 3 young adults, one teen, arrested in Bayonne for riding as passengers in a stolen car


Three young adults and one teenager were arrested in Bayonne for riding as passengers in a vehicle that had been stolen out of Montclair, police said.

Michael Howard, 22, of Jersey City, Kaylan Moses, 19, of Irvington, Yeser Paula, 18, of Jersey City, as well as a 14-year-old male juvenile from Bayonne, were all charged with riding in a motor vehicle known to be stolen, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.

All four individuals were taken into custody at around 10:54 p.m. from the area of West 53rd Street after being found occupying a motor vehicle, that had been reported stolen out of Montclair, as passengers.

The driver of the vehicle fled the vehicle upon the arrival of police and has not been apprehended as of Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
