Shufang Qi, 52, of Flushing, New York, Jessica Evans, 27, of Newark and Milagros Colon, 31, of Bronx, New York, were all arrested for engaging in prostitution on November 20th, according to Secaucus Detective Sgt. Michael Torres.

All three women are charged with offering, or accepting an offer, to engage in sexual activity in exchange for money while staying as a guest in a Secaucus hotel/motel, police said.

Torres clarified that the department would not be releasing the names of the hotels/motels involved in the operation for the sake of future stings, also citing the concern of officer safety.

In a news release, the Secaucus Police Department said the operation was part of Police Chief Kevin Flaherty’s “unabated efforts to continue to improve the quality of life within the Town of Secaucus.”
