North Bergen PD seeking public’s help to locate hit-and-run driver who struck boy, 11

The North Bergen Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a hit-and-run driver that struck an 11-year-old boy in broad daylight on Tuesday.

“We are currently conducting an active investigation into a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday, October 17th at 8:16am. The incident involves a Gray Ford Explorer manufactured between 2020 and 2024, bearing New Jersey license plates,” the North Bergen PD said in a statement.

“The vehicle is also equipped with tinted windows and a tinted windshield. The victim involved in the accident is an 11-year-old boy. In addition, we are seeking to identify a female witness who was dressed in black and was observed pushing a baby carriage at the time of the incident.”
